GTM Risk Management is Now RKL Risk Management

Reinsel Kuntz Lesher LLP (RKL), Certified Public Accountants & Consultants, today announced the acquisition of Radnor, Pennsylvania-based GTM Risk Management, which will operate under the new name RKL Risk Management LLC. The transaction, effective October 1, 2016, positions the firm as a leading provider of risk management services for financial institutions, credit unions and businesses in the Mid-Atlantic.

Retaining its focus on helping financial institutions, credit unions and companies reduce risk, the GTM Risk Management team will continue to offer clients internal audit, compliance and information technology audit services as RKL Risk Management. The firm will operate from a new suite in its former Radnor location at 150 N. Radnor-Chester Road.

“GTM Risk Management has an exemplary reputation for helping financial institutions of all sizes assess risk and manage compliance,” said RKL CEO Edward W. Monborne. “We’re glad to add their expertise to our firm’s growing risk management practice through the creation of RKL Risk Management.”

“Simply put, RKL is an ideal fit for our risk management practice. RKL’s experience as one of the nation’s top auditors of credit unions and their shared focus on financial institutions resonated with us. They are committed to expanding the practice and its resources, presenting exciting opportunities for our team members and clients alike,” said Randy Coneby, principal, RKL Risk Management.

RKL Risk Management will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of RKL. RKL Risk Management’s services and expertise will complement RKL’s existing risk management practice.

The transaction is the most recent development in RKL’s evolution from a traditional CPA firm to a financially oriented professional services firm. Over the past several years, the firm has strategically expanded its capabilities and added talent in areas including operational improvement, investment banking, HR consulting and more, bringing a broader spectrum of solutions to clients with increasingly complex needs.

In addition to RKL Risk Management, the firm’s portfolio of companies includes RKL Wealth Management, an investment advisory firm; RKL eSolutions, an IT consulting firm; and RKL Capital Advisors, an investment banking firm.
