Jim is a Partner in RKL’s Audit Services Group and RKL Risk Management. He serves the accounting and auditing needs of clients in a variety of industries, including banking, manufacturing and distribution, not-for-profit, real estate and the hospitality and entertainment industries. Jim has experience working with SEC registrants in the banking, manufacturing, retail and technology industries.
Jim’s experience includes audits of internal control over financial reporting with clients ranging in size from developmental stage enterprises to the Fortune 500. Additionally, he has coordinated internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing arrangements for clients in the banking, manufacturing and hospitality industries.
Jim also has experience conducting due diligence engagements and helping clients execute mergers and acquisitions and finance transactions. He is also responsible for leading client engagement teams, coordinating and reviewing audit and accounting services and consulting on complex accounting and reporting matters.
Jim joined the firm in 2013, and has nearly 20 years of auditing and accounting experience. Prior to joining RKL, he was a Partner in a regional accounting firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
Jim is Treasurer and Board Member with the Gretna Theatre, and past Treasurer and Board Member with the Center for Community Peacemaking. He is a 2010 Recipient of Central Penn Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Award and a graduate of the Leadership Lancaster program.
Jim and his wife, Denise, live in Lebanon, along with their sons Brady and James and daughter Gracie. He is a fan of all Philadelphia sports teams and enjoys spending time with his family, participating in his children’s sports and other activities.
